10 year old pregnant Girl Give Birth

We usually hear about teen pregnancy and the difficult time that teens have trying to raise a child, but a 10-year old pregnant?  We first think of the physical ramifications of such a pregnancy and then if there was a crime committed in her becoming pregnant.

But according to the Huffington Post, there was no crime reported.  The girl was simply taken to Hospital de la Mujerin Puebla, about 60 miles outside of Mexico City.  She delivered a 3.3 pound baby boy.

The girl is nearly 11, and she’s been traveling to the hospital every day to breastfeed her son in the neonatal intensive care unit.  If you have little children, surely you are cringing from this disturbing story.
